 It’s easy to approach your work in the ways that have proven fruitful in the past. Perhaps you’ve dialed in the steps that bring you success. But there is great growth potential in trying new materials, new ways of working, and new ideas. The theme of this year’s Gathering Exhibition at our conference in Omaha is designed to spark your creativity and feed your creative soul.

Express your ideas about this concept in a finished piece of work. It may be wearable or could be a small sculpture or marble, but it must include lampwork glass as a primary material at a minimum, and can incorporate other media as needed to convey your concept of the topic. You may work alone or in conjunction with one or more other artists.

 This juried exhibition will open at The Gathering: Fired Up in Omaha Nebraska at the 

Hot Shops Art Center Gallery. 

• Deadline to submit is September 28, 2023
• Notifications will be made by October 10, 2023
• Accepted work must arrive in Omaha by October 18, 2023

•  $25 per entry
• Open to all ISGB members
• You do not need to attend the Gathering to participate.
• You may enter by yourself or in collaboration with another artist in any medium.
• You (and your collaborator, if working with someone) must be current ISGB members.
• Submit 3 high resolution professional quality images showing overall and detailed (close-up) images of your piece.
• Provide a multi-sentence paragraph describing your work and how it embraces the concept idea.
• Cost to enter is $25, payable to the ISGB when submitting.
• Work can be for sale or not. All sales will be made through the Hot Shops Art Gallery
• Artist will receive 90% of the sale price.  (10% will cover Credit Card and Sales Tax)
• An inventory list with artist contact information and retail price(s) MUST be included with pieces when they are submitted. No exceptions.
• Accepted submissions must be shipped to our Nebraska ISGB representative by October 18, 2023 in advance of the exhibition installation.  Shipping directions will be sent out with notifications.
• Accepted artists must include  a prepaid return shipping label if they will not be attending Gathering.
